Apprenticeships
Skill Hire is one of the largest employers of apprentices / trainees in the state of Western Australia, employing approximately 600 apprentices at any given time.
As a host employer you can hire an apprentice or trainee for any period you like while we shoulder the responsibility of direct indenture, industrial relation issues, wages and payroll, WorkCover claims and much of the paperwork involved in taking on a new apprentice or trainee.
Apprentices and trainees are provided with the highest level of mentoring and support. As industry leaders we are in the best position to make sure you get the best training, guidance and pastoral care right through to the end of your apprenticeship or traineeship.
Skill Development
The Skill Hire / Regional Training Services Group manages, administers and delivers a wide range of vocational education, training and employment services.
Whether you are a school leaver, job seeker, employer, trainee, apprentice or someone looking to improve your skills, we may have a course or program that will suit your needs.
We also provide fee for services training tailored to suit your needs including carrying out skills audits, analysing training needs, developing training plans, delivering training, conducting assessment and skills recognition and brokering additional training.

Indigenous Support
We are proud of our success with Indigenous trainees and apprentices and since 1998 we have employed over 400 Indigenous trainees and apprentices through our Group Training division.
In addition to the range of employment and training services we offer, we also provide specialist consulting services which include the development of Indigenous employment strategies; Indigenous cultural awareness training; mentoring programs and specialist consultancy in Indigenous affairs.
We are a member of the Indigenous Employment Panel, which allows us to work closely with employers to identify Indigenous employment needs and develop training objectives, strategies and processes to ensure the successful recruitment of Indigenous job seekers.
