This Live Works Program provides construction training and over 22 participants have been successful in securing apprenticeships in the building industry.

The ceremony was attended by a range of stakeholders from government agencies and the construction industry.

Skill Hire has established an account with Indigenous Jobs Australia which was developed by the Australian Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (Indigenous Chamber) and Fairfax Media and is powered by MyCareer.  The site is dedicated to advertising job vacancies and opportunities which might be suitable for Indigenous Australians.  No other jobs board is dedicated to Indigenous job seekers and this will assist Skill Hire fulfilling its Strategic Plan objective of increasing its Indigenous employment.
